Citizen´s Spot

 

MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF CIVIC PARTICIPATION OF ENVIRONMENT. (External body and the municipal structures created in February 2001).

Since the primary function of the Municipal Environmental Council is to promote citizen participation, and because it is the Department of the Environment carried out the tasks of coordinating urban projects, has been found that the ideal for Civic Participation to involve representatives of the organizations that joined the project, the actions that are running, and monitoring of urban projects.

 

It is an advisory body, no binding of the Municipal Administration, which will be addressed, apart from its own environmental issues, all related to the 2007-2013 Draft Urban-Palencia and deemed appropriate to refer to information and consultation.

 

Composition:

 

It will be chaired by the Hon. Mr. Mayor of Palencia Alderman or he delegates and the vice presidency should fall on any member of the Council outside the municipal corporation, elected by absolute majority of votes of the full members.

• Councilmembers Delegates Area Urban Development and the Police Services, Public Safety, Civil Defense, Fire and Traffic; Service Works, Infrastructure and Services, and Service Environment and Sustainable Development.
• Two representatives of the Castile and Leon, one belonging to the Territorial Service of Environment and Territorial Service of Industry, appointed by the Autonomous Community.
• Two university professors for their specialty are clearly linked in their work and discipline to the technical environment, appointed by the University.
• A councilor of a representative from each Political Group of the City Council.
• One representative from each of the major trade union in the town.
• Two municipal technicians linked to the environment, to designate by the City. One of them perform the work of Secretary of the Council.
• A representative of the Federation of Neighborhood Associations to nominate for the Federation.
• Two representatives from environmental groups legally constituted to appoint the same groups.
• Two representatives of consumer associations legally constituted to appoint the same groups.
• A representative of the Youth Council to appoint by the Board.
• A representative of the Federation of Associations for the urban social respect (FARSU)
• One representative from each of the entities involved in the process of local cooperation for the definition of the Urban Project: (This list is open).

The Board of Immigration will meet at least once a quarter and as many times as called by the Mayor, or by the full 1 / 3 of its members.

Each year, discuss and approve a report of the proceedings during the period.

 

 

Reunión con la Presidenta de la Asociación de Vecinos de El Cristo.

4 de Agosto de 2010

El pasado miércoles 4 de Agosto, tuvo lugar una reunión, en las dependencias del Ayuntamiento, con las representantes de la Asociación de Vecinos del Barrio de El Cristo.

El objetivo de dicha reunión fue informar sobre el estado del Proyecto Urban, así como el cambio de impresiones sobre los efectos  que está teniendo en los vecinos de la Zona Urban.  Asistieron, por parte del Ayuntamiento de Palencia, Yolanda Gómez, Concejala de Medioambiente, Jesús Merino, Concejal de Obras y María Isabel del Moral, Gestora del Proyecto.
